"Wi-Fi connection has been really frustrating"
I don’t know if it’s something with my setup or what, but these speakers keep dropping off Wi-Fi pretty much every day. The app will say they’re connected, then I go to play something and just nothing happens. I’ve reset them a bunch of times, same as before. For what they cost, it’s annoying
"Pretty good, but Not amazing"
The music sounds clear enough overall, and I don’t really have any big complaints there. But the bass feels a little weak sometimes for my taste, so it’s good, just not AMAZING.

"Really bad tech support situation"
I had a terrible time with tech support. They kept sending me from one person to another, and it was like nobody really knew what to do with my issue. After all that back and forth, I still didn’t get a fix, so yeah, not a great experience for me.

"Pretty decent speakers, I guess"
They sound fine overall and feel kind of solid, but the corners seem a bit cheap or not super well finished. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed.

"Didn’t work right with my TV"
so I bought this Polk soundbar thinking it would be a simple setup with my Samsung TV, but it ended up being way more frustrating than I expected. The HDMI ARC kept cutting out, the remote only worked when it felt like it, and the audio would randomly switch back to the TV speakers. I tried looking through the support pages, but they really didn’t solve much. I thought it would be better, so I returned it after about a week.

"Did anyone else just never hear back?"
I reached out to support and waited several days, but I still never got a real response. I kept checking because I figured maybe I missed something, but nope. Is it just me, or is that kind of frustrating?

The speakers sound good overall, and I’m not unhappy with them. That said, for what I paid, I was hoping they’d feel like a better deal. They’re definitely not bad, but I do have that nagging feeling that I might’ve missed out on getting more value somewhere else.

"Solid bass, just a little boomy sometimes"
This subwoofer definitely brings the rumble for movies 😄 Explosions and action scenes feel way more fun now. Setup was straightforward too, which I appreciated. For music though, it can get a bit boomy in my room, especially when I turn it up. I just wish the bass stayed a little tighter at higher volumes. Still a good pick overall if you want some serious low-end.

"Install instructions weren't much help"
Tried using the install instructions on Polk Audio they were confusing. Felt like some steps were out of order, and the pictures didn’t match what I was looking at. Took way longer than it should’ve for a simple setup. Frustrating overall

"Couldn’t get it to work with my home theater"
I really wanted this to work, and maybe I was missing something, but setting it up was way more frustrating than I expected. My AVR kept losing the speakers, and I kept wondering if I had done the setup wrong, but I tried a bunch of things and couldn’t get it stable. Support mostly just sent me basic help links, which didn’t really solve anything. In the end, it just felt like more of a hassle than it was worth.

I ordered from polkaudio.com thinking my stuff would ship within a few days, but it basically just sat there with hardly any updates. The delivery ended up taking way longer than I expected, and when I reached out, customer service didn’t really give me a clear answer. On top of that, I kept getting aggressive reminder emails/messages, which was annoying when they couldn’t even give me a straight shipping update. The product itself might be fine, but the whole shipping experience was frustrating enough that I probably won’t order direct again.

"Sounded good at first, then just stopped?"
It actually sounded good when I first got it, so I was happy with it for a while. But after just a few months, it randomly stopped working and I’m confused about why. I didn’t do anything unusual with it, so it’s annoying.

"Sound didn’t live up to what I expected"
I was excited to try these because I expected a lot more from Polk, but the sound just didn’t do it for me. It comes across kind of flat, and the bass feels muddy instead of full or clean.
Once I turned the volume up, the highs started getting a little harsh too. I tried adjusting the placement and messing with the settings, but it still sounded cheaper than I expected for the price

"Rear sound was too weak"
I wasn’t expecting anything crazy, but the surround sound just didn’t really deliver. The rear audio was so weak that it barely added to the experience, which kind of defeats the point of having surround sound in the first place

The Wi-Fi keeps dropping almost every day. My sister was trying to watch a show the other night and it cut out again, so it’s been really annoying for us

"Returning them didn’t meet my expectations"
The speakers themselves were decent, but the return process was way more frustrating than I think it should be. I’m reasonable, but I do expect clear instructions and timely support when I’m trying to send something back. Instead, replies were slow and I had to follow up more than once just to figure out what was going on. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but it definitely didn’t meet the standard I’d expect.

"Replacement parts are a hassle"
I’ve had a tough time trying to get replacement parts for this. Every time I check, they seem to be out of stock, which pretty much leaves you stuck if something needs fixing.

"I’m Not Taking Chances With This Remote"
The remote has been frustrating to use. The buttons are tiny, the response is slow, and sometimes it just doesn’t work the way it should. I don’t want to keep forcing it or risk messing anything up, so I’ve been handling it carefully, but it’s still a pain.

"Weak bass, and the policy runaround made it worse"
I bought these from polkaudio.com expecting the bass to be at least decent, but it just sounds flat. I moved the speakers around, messed with the settings, and tried different placements, but nothing really gave it that kick I was hoping for.
Movies sound kind of thin, and music barely has any punch unless I crank the volume way up. Even then, it just starts getting muddy instead of sounding fuller. For the price, I expected a lot better.
Shipping was fine, so no issue there, but the sound is the whole point and the bass really let me down. What made it more annoying was getting the usual “that’s our policy” type excuse when I looked into options, which just felt frustrating after already being disappointed. I wouldn’t buy these again.

"Great sound, but the app could be better!!"
The speakers sound really good, and I’ve been happy with the audio overall!! That said, the firmware updates have been a little hit or miss for me. Sometimes the app just loses the device and I have to restart it to get things working again. It’s not a dealbreaker, just kind of annoying when it happens. Hopefully they can make the software more stable soon.
